Reader Review: Worth mentioned up front - this book is a collection of Guild Hunter short stories but three of them are previosuly published. There's just one new story. That's fine w/ me as it's nice to have the short stories all together but not the biggest fan of repackaging stories. Short stories can be hit or miss for me; leaving me feeling as if the story was too rushed or just right. Happy to say these stories did a great job helping to fill backstories of secondary characters.

Warrior angels, vampire hunters, and angels gone bad heat up this altogether sizzling paranormal alternate universe. This anthology of novellas features Angels' Wolf, Angels' Judgement, Angels' Pawn , and the never-before-published Angels' Dance .

I love this collection of four stories. Anyone familiar with Nalini Singh's Guild Hunter series will enjoy reading about familiar characters (and hopefully characters that will become more familiar in future books). The first story, Angels' Pawn, is clearly setting up for more between Ashwini and Janvier. Angels' Judgment tells the story of Sara and Deacon as well as Sara's becoming the leader of the Guild. In Angel's Wolf, we learn of what happens to the vampire that was so injured in Archangel's Kiss. Angels' Dance takes the reader back 400 years to when Jessamy, the angels' teacher, and Galen meet and fall in love. We see a glimpse of Rafael before he becomes too hardened and even the child he was before his his father's death and his mother's disappearance. We see more of Dmitri, Illium, Jason and Aodhan and meet Alexander. Hopefully, we'll see more of them in the future. I can't wait for the next installment in this wonderful series

A wonderful collection of stories

I've read all of these stories, except for Angels' Dance. Despite this, however, I definitely enjoyed rereading all of them over again. Nalini Singh has created a layered and complex world full of colorful and interesting characters who I absolutely adore. In particular, I really enjoyed Angels' Dance. It introduced us to one of the Seven and Jessamy. Nalini Singh created both romance and action in this novella with such skill. Definitely read it if you like any of her other books.
