Reader Review: Gena Showalter is excellent at what she does, write compelling stories you just can't put down until they are done and then you just jones for more. I may not have read them in order but it was well worth going back and reading this story. I love any work I have read by Gena Showalter. I highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys a good paranormal romance.

Really enjoyed the book, great story, loved the characters - particularly the interplay and banter with Promiscuity and the other Demons and the new God made me laugh out loud! Quite steamy in places and a good ending.

Couldn't put down

I read the first book years ago and finally picked up the second. I couldn't stop reading until I was so tired I feel asleep. I love paranormal romance novels, but it is refreshing to read about something other than vampires, werewolves, etc.
She makes you fall in love with all the Lords of the Underworld and wanting to what is in store for each one.

The Darkest Night is a fun introduction to a new series (for me at least) that goes around demons, crazy people, violence, hot drooly (yes, I mean it as drool-y - it should be a word, it’s awesome) sex and extreme redecorating. But we all love crazy people don’t we? And violence. And sex. And hotties.
