Reader Review: After having fallen in love with Kevin in Nobody's Baby but Mine, I was worried that SEP wouldn't be able to deliver when she gave him his own story. I'll admit that I was wrong. Molly and Kevin were the bringers of tears and laughter as I read their tale. Again the secondary relationships and characters were perfect amounting to another five star masterpiece by SEP.

Take a children's book illustrator, who's a bit down on her luck; add a handsome new quarterback from the Chicago Stars; and throw in a poignant search for a birth mother. The result is This Heart of Mine , a mesmerizing tale from a bestselling author at the zenith of her storytelling powers. 384 pp. National ads. Author appearances. 100,000 print.

Part of the Chicago stars series - Story of Molly

Part of the Chicago stars series - Story of Molly Sommerville (Phoebe from 'it had to be you''s sister) and Kevin Tucker, team's player.
In this story, S.E. Philips is at her best in terms of humour and comedy => LOTS of hilarious moments. Maybe the humour even overshadows the romance a little (reason for 4 stars and not 5) but still, it is very good. Highly recommended if you want to laugh out loud when you read.

Stole my heart

I really enjoyed this story featuring Phoebe Calebow's sister, Molly. The relationship that develops between Molly and Kevin Tucker was realistic and natural, despite its absurd beginning. It was a pleasure to follow them as they matured as individuals and as a couple. It was also heartwarming to see the bond that was formed between the two sisters from the first book in the series. There are many funny moments and both characters have a quirky wit that is enjoyable

This is one of my most favorite in the Chicago Stars series.

Typical of Susan Elizabeth Phillips but still grea

Reviewer: A reader from USA

I enjoy reading any book that Phillips writes. Her stories have enough joy and heartbreak in them to make a great story. Despite the fact that she still has the "athlete with deeper thoughts" character, the book is still enjoyable. The quotes from Molly's books were a cute add-in.
