Seducing Simon
One fateful night, Toni Langston seduces her best friend, the guy she's been in love with forever. Two problems-he doesn't remember a thing that happened and now she's pregnant. Toni Langston has been in love with Simon, her best friend, for years. The night Simon breaks up with his long time girlfriend, he and Toni make love. Toni is devastated and humiliated when, in the heat of the moment, he calls her by his girlfriend's name. The next morning, Simon remembers nothing of the previous night and Toni is only too relieved not to remind him. Two months later, she discovers she's pregnant. She wants Simon to love her, apart from any obligation he might feel because of the baby. So she embarks on a quest to seduce her best friend, to make him see her as more than a little sister, to make him love her as much as she loves him. It works. Maybe too well. Now when things are perfect, she faces telling him of the secret she's kept. Blue Ribbon Rating: 4.5 "SEDUCING SIMON is a compelling look at love between friends and the emotional roller coaster that Toni experiences while trying to get Simon to see her as more than just a friend. Compound that with pregnancy hormones and you're in for a wild ride that will have you experiencing all of Toni's emotions throughout this book. Simon is your all around good guy. ...Now I'm hoping for a follow up story for A.J. as well as Toni's co-conspirator on SEDUCING SIMON, Mike. He was kind enough to give Toni pointers on seduction techniques that had Simon drooling. Mike definitely needs a story too."~ Chrissy Dionne, Romance Junkies

Toni watched from the couch as Simon turned and walked over to her once more. She smiled tentatively up at him as he knelt by the couch. "How you doing? Any cramping?" he asked.
"You've been reading my pregnancy book again," she said with a laugh. But she found it endearing he had devoted so much time to reading about something that affected her.
She reached a hand up and placed it on his chest. "Thank you," she whispered.
"For what?" he asked, confusion clouding his eyes.
"For caring about me," she said softly.
Not taking the time to ponder whether this was the appropriate moment, she smoothed her hand up over his shoulder and over the back of his neck. Pulling him down at the same time she raised her lips, she pressed her mouth to his.
He stiffened in surprise, but she moved her lips softly over his, seeking, almost pleading with him to respond. His mouth opened, and he took control of the kiss. His hand slid up to her neck holding her against him as his tongue darted forth.
She moaned softly, twining her fingers in his hair pulling him even cl ... read full excerpt from Seducing Simon ebook

I really liked this book.
it had a storyline. where you can see real people and mistakes they make. Not a lot of sex but very good.

the plot was interesting and covered a wide range of human emotions. i'm a sucker for the stories where best friends fall in love....who knows you better than they do. the fact that they had sex one night and he didn't remember it was somewhat unrealistic, but i guess if he drank enough to black out and not too much he couldn't perform......there weren't as many love scenes as i would have liked but the story was so engaging i hardly noticed. this story just goes to show how fast lies can spiral out of control.

I didn’t think I was going to enjoy this story because of its unconventional storyline, but I have to say, I read the ENTIRE book at work (yes, naughty employee) and it’s FABULOUS! Simon’s definitely that sexy guy in your life you dream about having an affair with and Toni is that inner tomboy side you’re too embarrassed to admit. While I didn’t cry while reading the book, I did gasp a few times at Simon’s overly protective and jealous actions. What girl doesn’t enjoy a few dates with another guy friend in hopes of making that special someone jealous? The funny parts usually include Toni’s brother and other roommate, AJ. I hope a book is written about AJ – he sounds like a sexy devil! Overall, if you’re bored and looking for a little lovin’, check out Seducing Simon.

I loved this book. I didn't give it 5 stars because I did have a hard time believing that the male character forgot that he had sex with someone who supposedly meant so much to him (drunk or not), but once I got over that I was completely taken by the rest of the story. The author did a superb job developing the characters, and their interaction was very believable and genuine. The book is very well written. Although I don't want to give anything away, I will admit to needing several tissues to mop up tears during certain parts. The twists and turns kept me reading late into the night. I just couldn't put this one down. I have reread it several times, and despite knowing the outcome, I enjoy it every time!

One of your milder Maya Banks stories. Not quite as explicit as some of her others. This actually has quite a nice storyline. If you like Mills and Boon you will like
