I was given the first book by a friend. She said you've GOT to read this. I knew going in it had BDSM/erotica. I'm ok with that, in fact I like alittle sex in my books. The first book was aggrivating. I went back and forth between hating Christian and thinking he was extremely hot and Ana went from strong to weak . That being said, I continued this trilogy and loved it. It's a very addicting series. I want a Mr. Grey of my own. His love and need for her was heart breaking and beautiful at the same time. The family and friends were a great addition. I love that she eventually started to stand up to him and he in turn started to loosen the reins. (Har Har). It ended perfectly, I only wish she had another series like this coming, but how do you compete with Christian and his issues? Great series

The series horrid depiction of relationships, over detailed sexual encounters following abuse make this book silly and demeaning. Not a read for those pure of mind or trying to be.

Who would not read this book when every student is reading this in school. They told me it's nice because it's erotic. Yeah I love it. But, when I started o read this book this is not just about the sadistic act of the millionare, oh it's billionaire Grey. this is about the hidden secrets of our life and how we deal it and what made us developed today. Grey is an example, yes he is the good one. I tried asking my self what really the author wanted give lessons to the readers out of this novel. Then, there's the black past of Grey. Then there's a girl, who just graduated from college. Then there's sex scenes, I mean sadistic scenes that you'll say the author is probably creative enough or young enough to describe irresistible orgasms in each sex scenes. Oh boy, read it and you'll know.

Okay story but it is drawn out way beyond belief much. Book one drags on but once you get to book two It picks up and starts to get a little interesting. Book three is okay! I just can't understand what all the hype was about. Poorly written yes but an okay story.
