Reader Review: Joey W Hill is a wonderful writer of erotic and D/s fiction. Her characters are strong and compelling. Her plots are always fresh and well thought out. She has several series and non series books available that span contemporary characters and plots as well as paranormal and urban fiction. Each book is unique and beautifully written. If you are new to the Vampire Queen series, you will probably want to at least read Vampire Queen's Servant and Mark of the Vampire Queen before beginning this book since those two novels introduce Lyssa and Jacob and tell the story of their relationship and commitment to each other. It would also be helpful to read Beloved Vampire, Vampire Mistress and Vampire Trinity since the main characters in those books have important roles in this book as well. Having said all that, this book begins with Lyssa (who is half vampire and half fae)and Jacob (her mate and servant) being threatened on two sides. The Queen of the Unseelie Court wants Lyssa to come to her to prove how strong her fae powers are. Of course, Jacob will not be parted from her so he goes along and they are forced to complete three quests to determine whether they will be allowed the self determination of returning to the human/vampire world or staying in the fae world. A lot happens while they are in the fae world and the characters are wonderful. I am hoping we see more of that world in the future. The second threat is that the Vampire Council is considering taking Kane, Lyssa and Jacobs' son from them in a political maneuver, as well as trying to force them apart. The plot has wonderful and unexpected twists and turns and is as rich and beautifully written as one comes to expect from Joey's writing. The story is gripping (I started my first read at 7 AM and finished the book at 9 PM, literally could not put it down. I say my first read, because I know there will be many rereads in the near future). For those of you who know the Vampire Queen series, good news! Mason, Jessica, Daegan, Anwyn, Gideon, Lord Brian, Debra and the good and bad Council members all play important roles in the story. I am very hopeful that we seem more of the Council make up in future books and how Vampire society accepts (or rejects) the changes that seem to be coming. Such a wonderful book. I can't wait to see the next book in the series!

His soul is hers for the asking, as the phenomenally arousing series continues.

Sworn to obedience, compelled by loyalty, and threatened with damnation for betrayal, Jacob is Lady Lyssa's vampire servant. But as Lyssa struggles with the powers that have come alive in her paternal Fae blood, she is challenged by two deadly enemies.

NoteePub, short for electronic publication is one of our favorites and should be yours for a couple of reasons. ePub offers reflowable text giving you flexibility to manipulate how the digital content is presented. Moreover, lots of cool features are now being developed for the reader like advanced video and audio. ePub is now an industry standard, so all of the device manufacturers are now supporting it?. except of course those two proprietary (ie: we don't want you to have a choice) online behemoths: Apple and Amazon - who seek to chain you like a trailer park dog forever to their devices. Three years from now, we predict ePub will rule the eBook landscape.

Wonderful exploration of an amazing world!

Absolutely loved, Bound By the Vampire Queen! If you've read previous stories of Lady Lyssa and Jacob this is a must read, if you haven't, I would definitely recommend reading The Vampire Queens Servant and Mark of The Vampire Queen. This is not necessary, but if this book has piqued your interests I think you'll enjoy these as well.

I won't give anything away, you must read this book for yourself, but if you enjoy Paranormal Erotica you'll love this book. With its BDSM element it's a little graphic for some, but if you can focus on the story it's absolutely amazing, you won't be sorry. This story will make you want to laugh, cry and cheer for this couple page after page.

Lady Lyssa is over a century old and Jacob has served her twice in his previous lifetimes, this time he's here to stay no matter what she has to say about it. Lady Lyssa and Jacob are an incredible duo, always fighting to protect each other. This book show that chivalry isn't dead, some people are still willing to do anything for family, and love really does conquer all!
