Reader Review: Enjoyable, smooth, easy, satisfying, but not, for me, one of Nora Roberts' best. An American woman desperate to change her life rents an Irish cottage for six months and finds new friends, a new love, and a touch of magic. I liked it, but I find the arrogant, irresistible man / helpless-to-resist female a bit tiring. She does show an unexpected (and enjoyable) streak of backbone at the end, though. And even an "average" Nora Roberts novel is well above most other romance writers.

"[Roberts] is at her best here" ( Publishers Weekly , starred review) in the first book in her enchanting trilogy set in Ardmore, Ireland.

NoteePub, short for electronic publication is one of our favorites and should be yours for a couple of reasons. ePub offers reflowable text giving you flexibility to manipulate how the digital content is presented. Moreover, lots of cool features are now being developed for the reader like advanced video and audio. ePub is now an industry standard, so all of the device manufacturers are now supporting it?. except of course those two proprietary (ie: we don't want you to have a choice) online behemoths: Apple and Amazon - who seek to chain you like a trailer park dog forever to their devices. Three years from now, we predict ePub will rule the eBook landscape.

What a jewel!

This gem of a story is captivating. Roberts continues to illustrate the beauty of Ireland in this first book of the series about the Gallaghers of Ardmore. It is a story of self discovery and self worth as Jude Murray suddenly uproots herself and moves from Chicago to the village of Ardmore in an attempt to redirect her life. Her journey is interesting, while realistic and mystical. She gains a strong sense of self and a lover along the way. Aidan Gallagher, by the way, is one of the most appealing characters I've seen in quite some time. Highly recommend and you won't want the story to end.
