Reader Review: I mostly purchased this book for Sunny's story, Chinatown. While the story went in directions I didn't expect, it was still enjoyable. The other two stories were a little disappointing by themselves. Unless a reader particularly enjoys one of these authors, I wouldn't recommend this book as a whole.

Only one of the three stories in this book is worth the time and effort. CHINATOWN by Sunny was worth the price of admission. I thoroughly enjoyed this story. Although it was only 86 pages long, it was well written, and not rushed. The characters were well developed and believable. I was drawn into this story from page 1. However, STAKEOUT by Karen Tabke was awful. I can handle an occassional hole or take a leap of faith in a story, but this story had so many holes it was worse than swiss cheese. Some of the holes were more like sinkholes. The story was sucked into the vortex. Even the sex scenes in the book left something to be desired as they just weren't believable. The sex the author wants us to believe between these two people just didn't jive with the characters as presented. This story just isn't believable. I was irritated while reading the story, and was actually mad when I finished it. Absolutely horrendous, and a total waste of time. BODYWORK by Bonnie Edwards was an okay read, but very predictable and not terribly entertaining. A mediocre effort at best, but at least not maddening like STAKEOUT. CHINATOWN was a good read, but not good enough for me to recommend paying the price for the entire book. Spend your money and time on a better book!
