Reader Review: Sinjin is a story of love at first sight and it begins with an immediate romance (no question about where the relationship is headed). The author wrote a very sensual story between the main characters but also created several side romances that progressed at the same time. A good read.
The Rayborne brothers are notorious throughout London for two things: their astounding good looks and their wild sexual ways. But when they receive an ultimatum to wed or risk losing their inheritance, their search for brides takes them on a journey of carnal pleasure like none they've experienced before. . .
His Needs Consumed Him. . .
The oldest of the Rayborne brothers, Sinjin's insatiable appetite for sex has earned him the nickname "Sin." But his frequent visits to London's most infamous pleasure houses must now come to an end. For a rogue who's accustomed to indulging his every desire, one woman can never be enough. . .until Sinjin locks eyes with Katelyn Davenport, and knows she is the one woman he can't get enough of. . .
Until He Met The One Woman Who Could Satisfy Them All. . .
Betrothed to a much older man in payment for her late father's gambling debts, Katelyn dreads her wedding day--and her wedding night even more. When she meets Sinjin at a soirée intended to introduce him to the eligible young ladies of the ton, she envies the lucky woman who will ultimately become his bride. But when Sinjin seduces Katelyn, giving her just a taste of his legendary sensual skills, she can only imagine herself in his bed every night. . .

Sinjin
Chapter One
London, England
Sinjin and his brothers had barely crossed the threshold into Madame Darion's Pleasure Palace, when they were welcomed by a bevy of whores in the large, smoke-filled room. Men of all ages lounged on gaudy red velvet settees and worn chairs, accompanied by alluring women who willingly offered what their wives or mistresses would not.
"Sinjin, you are everything a man should be."
Sinjin looked up from the pair of immense breasts belonging to Paris, a French whore who had straddled him mere seconds before.
Paris rotated her hips in a way that had Sinjin clenching his teeth. "And you are everything a woman should be, my dear." He lightly bit the slope of one luscious creamy-white globe.
Her rouged lips curved in a coy smile. "I imagine you say that to all your women, my lord."
"All my women?" He placed a hand over his heart, doing his best to look hurt. "Paris, you wound me."
"Everyone knows your reputation, my lord. What is the nickname for you and your brothers-the Rakehells of Rochester? You are a wicked one, Sin."
He mentally groaned at the mention of the nickname that had been whispered throughout ballrooms and brothels from Rochester to London of late. True, he and his brothers had a fierce appetite for women, but to label them all as rakehells was a bit extreme. "You should not be listening to idle gossip, Paris."
"Do you mean to tell me the rumors aren't true?" She actually sounded disappointed.
"Not a word," he replied.
Her lips quirked. "Somehow I doubt that."
Sensing that someone watched him, he
...Title: Sinjin April 29, 2011 I'll concede this isn't the *worst* book I've read all year, as I actually bothered to finish it--but only just. It's clumsily written and sloppily edited. The characters are cardboard cut-outs, the language is awkward (my favorite anachronism is the liberal use of "okay"), and the sex scenes are uninteresting. There's nothing surprising or interesting, amusing or clever about it.

Simply not good

In sum, I'm at a loss to find anything positive to say about "Sinjin" besides the fact that it doesn't take very long to read. But considering the list price of this book, even that's a bug rather than a feature.
If you're looking for a *good* erotic regency romance series about a family of bad-boy heroes, I recommend Anne Stuart's Wicked House of Rohan series, instead.
Looking forward to the rest of the stories

about these brothers. I loved the love at first sight storyline. Both of the main characters are interesting & compliment each other. The supporting cast of characters pushes their love along in a believable, even if it is fantasy, manor. Will be a reread for me.
Liked it.

This was my first Julia Templeton and I'm definitely going to move on to Victor. There was a lot to like about this book - solid historical, believable plot. Sinjin definitely falls fast and hard for Katelyn - I don't know if that part is so believable but it's romantic. There's definitely enough tension with the arranged fiance to keep you on edge for the heroine. Also, there was so many steam side stories. Worth the read!
Good Read
