Reader Review: The moment Alexis and Ryder met, intense attraction sparked and propelled them into a steamy fling immediately. Ryder is masculine, sexy, but in tune to Alexis' sensibility. Alexis didn't want to be hurt, yet she fell head over heel for Ryder. I love how Ryder rejected the need to take over Alexis' life while knowing that she was his mate. He fought his inner beast in order to give Alexis room for her love and trust to build, and to give her the chance to choose her own destiny. So sweet.
