Reader Review: This was a great little read. It had some really sad moments though. Madeline had little experience with love in her life and Aleksei had his own tragedy so it took some time for them to stop living in the past. As Aleksei’s employee, Madeline had something to prove because of what happened with her former boss. Aleksei didn’t want to feel anything for anyone and only wanted to concentrate on work. They both realized fear was controlling them and it was time to live.
