Sometimes a book just speaks to you, makes you really feel what the characters are going through and you know that you are reading an author who knows what he or she is doing—Triage is that kind of book. I enjoyed every second of it. The characters are hot while maintaining believability in suspenseful situations. I think anyone who likes action packed, smart writing with an edge, and a hot hero...is going to love this book...I will be picking up more of this author’s work. I recommend you go buy this book. Ms. De Sues occasionally used sharp cuts during the action to demonstrate how dire the situation was, and how fast it was moving. Her style made me feel felt like Jessie did, being dragged into a danger and having her guts yanked like she was on a roller coaster. It was quite effective. This book is a non-stop thrill ride that will jerk and compel you just like Jake did to Jessie. But just as much as it is an adventure, it’s also a hot love story.
