See Me

The last study cube on the second floor is the best spot. None of the other college students know this. From here you have a perfect view of the entire Metro State College Library activities. If you are trying to study it’s distracting. If you want the location for other reasons it’s perfect.

Physics class ended exactly fifteen minutes ago. The other female students are desperately trying out their stories. They’ll do whatever it takes to have a little more time with Professor Cromwell’s handsome assistant.

I won’t sink so low as to make up a reason to see him. I know he’ll get to the library shortly and from my vantage point I’ll bring us closer than he’ll ever get with those other girls.

This odd cube is the perfect spot for my Wednesday afternoon tradition. The low wall hides most of my body from the people on the first floor. The solid sides of the cubicle hide my body from the other students up here. Just my shoulders and head show. That’s no problem. No one will know. They never know.
