Reader Review: What a strange book. The author did a good job of setting up the book, explaining the lights in the water and building a believable and hot relationship between Rey and Dixie, but everything went pear shaped at the end of the book. For a 21st century romance I'm surprised and disappoint that the two main characters never have sex. Also, there didn't seem to be a point when Rey revealed who or what he was to Dixie. There was a little dream segment where it was revealed but there was nothing in her behavior or actions the next day to suggest she believed anything in her dream to be real other than the desire. And then the whole awkward scene with the jeweler. It was weird and a book that I feel had so much potential just fell by the way side. A good book, but wholly disappointing.
Stuck at her sister's tropical wedding without a date, Dixie Ames decides to kick up sand at the reception and finds more than she bargained for, spotting a strange shimmering orb over the water. Rey knows better than to appear in front of humans, but something about Dixie attracts him like no other. Can a human and a Shimryn find love? He knows only the tides will tell.

| Note | ePub, short for electronic publication is one of our favorites and should be yours for a couple of reasons. ePub offers reflowable text giving you flexibility to manipulate how the digital content is presented. Moreover, lots of cool features are now being developed for the reader like advanced video and audio. ePub is now an industry standard, so all of the device manufacturers are now supporting it?. except of course those two proprietary (ie: we don't want you to have a choice) online behemoths: Apple and Amazon - who seek to chain you like a trailer park dog forever to their devices. Three years from now, we predict ePub will rule the eBook landscape. |

This is the start of a great book but since it is short and leaves you hanging, be prepared for quick read.
