Reader Review: After reading the first in the series, "The Mating" I couldn't wait to read "The Keeping". I found it to be an excellent mix of suspence, love, and adventure. Now I am anxiously waiting for the release for the next installment. Great work Nickey!

This book is a sequel to The Mating, my first werewolf story. Many people became enamoured with the characters in that book and kept asking what happened to them. The second book in the series. Great series, plenty of twists, action, romance, sex, humor. This one is about Ryne and Melody. He's Kane's brother. At the end of the first book he leaves for Canada and forms his own pack. Trouble from the first book follow him, the picture. Melody is hired to find the photographer and interview him for a rich guy, who also is very pushy and threatening. This book continue on from the first book and leads into the second book just as well. Great group of characters.

This book was hot and cold at the sametime, when Mel and Ryne met flame and ice were in play. He was hot for her while trying to keep her from finding out infomation on him for her report. This book for me was outstanding and I loveed read it
