Reader Review: What a unique and interesting plot to this novel. It held my interest throughout the entire book. I love this authors style and am looking forward to reading more of her work.
Vibiana Morales met with a tragic death when she fell from a stripper pole on amateur night at The Jug Hut. PROLOGUE
With the strobe light flashing in my eyes – blinding me, and the bass pulsating in my ears – deafening me, I provocatively rolled my shoulders to the tribal beat and made my first lunge. I took a firm hold of brass in each hand before swinging clockwise around the pole. Over the driving rhythm I could hear the whistles and catcalls urging me on. Bolstered by their adoration and the six shots of Jack Daniel’s I’d had before taking the stage, I bent over and wiggled my nearly nude bum to the cheers of the audience. Once again I grabbed the pole, straddling it seductively. I walked my hands higher and higher then, with cat-like grace, lifted my legs up ‘til my four inch red plastic stiletto- clad feet were miles above my head. Alcohol made me limber.

This is a fast, funny, completely enjoyable read. The heroine is dynamic and the writing really flows. I laughed out loud.
